Make My Butter Green :: What's In It? Series

Teacup  belongs to a set from Teavana.  An anniversary gift from King T. a few years back.

Being a person that is inspired by gourmet beverages and culture, I was oh-yeah when I discovered Green Tea Butter.  Green Tea & Lemon, Green Tea & Jasmine, Green Tea & fruit flavors all create a party in my mouth (hmmm, fragrance blends may be?); Shaking the powder remnants of Matcha Green Tea into my cup brings pure joy to my eyes (LOL it really is the little things for me).

Make your skin buds dance.  Green Tea can protect the skin from aging and from serious damage from the sun’s UVB rays.  The caffeine and Theobromine (a bitter alkaloid of the cacao plant, found in chocolate, as well as in a number of other foods, including the leaves of the tea plant, and the kola or cola nut), present in Green Tea, have natural anti-inflammatory, anti-cellulite and anti-irritancy effects.  Rich in polyphenols (a group of chemical substances found in plants), Green Tea is promoted in skin care because of its powerful antioxidant property, thus rejuvenating the skin.
